Making an entry brow first

Falling in love...truly madly deeply. A little guy who tried to come through almost brow first...one in a thousand babes try to make it through this way and in obstetric language they are not supposed to fit through the pelvis because the diameter is too large. Him and his mum worked so hard together and he was born in the pool with not a sign of distress and in all of 6 hours.

The first hands on him were hers as she brought him up from the water and pulled him in close to her chest to hear her familiar heartbeat and gentle voice as he took his first breath. We never would have known that he was trying to come through brow first if it wasn't for the moulding on his head that promptly went down within a couple of hours. The miracle of birth and the surrender within a woman to ride the waves of strength and vulnerability.
